Audio pentode intended for use in preamplifiers, guitar amplifiers and hi-fi output amplifiers. Low noise and low hum like it's predcesors octal type EF37A and rimlock type EF40. EF86 / 6267 was introduced in 1955 and has noval B9A base.
8Y3 code indicates that tube is made in Philips / Valvo factory in Hamburg West Germany, and D2A2 indicates that tube is from late 60s ... Mash shield version.
