RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At TUBES.RS, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If for any reason you’re not happy with your purchase, we offer returns for a refund or exchange, subject to a restocking fee.

STANDARD RETURN POLICY

Our return policy is valid for 30 days from the delivery date for new and NOS items. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange after this 30-day period.

For used items, our return policy is valid for 14 days from the delivery date. After this period, returns will not be accepted.

Restocking Fees
The following restocking fees apply to all non-defective returns:
Within 7 days of delivery: 20% restocking fee
Within 15 days of delivery: 25% restocking fee
Within 30 days of delivery: 30% restocking fee
Note: No returns are accepted for items returned in damaged condition or with cosmetic scratches/markings not present when shipped.
Defective returns are not subject to restocking fees.

VACUUM TUBE WARRANTY

Our vacuum tubes are covered under warranty only if they fail during usage in properly designed tube circuits within their operating limits. When these guidelines are followed, very few NOS or new tubes will fail.

NOS (New Old Stock) tubes: 30-day warranty from the date of order arrival.
Used tubes: 14-day warranty from the date of order arrival.

Important Notes:
Some tubes or other products are sold “as is,” and are not covered by warranty or eligible for returns.

The EU warranty applies only to new, current-production products for a period of two years. NOS (New Old Stock) items, manufactured over 50 years ago, are not covered by this warranty.
NOS vacuum tubes are typically considered collectibles or antiques, not standard consumer goods.
Most tube factories ceased operations over 30 years ago, and the countries where these tubes were produced (Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, East Germany, Soviet Union, etc.) no longer exist. Consequently, obtaining a manufacturer’s warranty—especially one regulated by EU law—is not possible for products of this age.

Return and Warranty Policy Addition – Eligibility Requirements, Tube Identity and Condition Verification

Items must be returned in the same condition as when they were received.
If the item was shipped in its original packaging, it must be returned in that packaging.
Items must be returned undamaged and in perfect condition.
To maintain the highest standards of authenticity and fairness, all returns of vacuum tubes must include the original tubes as shipped.

Verification Process:

Returned tubes will be thoroughly inspected to verify their identity and condition. This includes:
• Checking the etched codes or serial numbers on each tube
• Confirming that the position of the logo, etched codes, and any other printing or identifiable details on the tube precisely match those of the original shipment.

Refund and Replacement Conditions:

Refunds or replacements will only be processed if:
• The tubes are confirmed defective based on our inspection, and
• The etched codes, their positions, and any other identifiable markings correspond precisely to those originally supplied.

Tubes that have been swapped, altered, or do not match the original shipment will not qualify for refund or replacement.

Tester Variability Notice

Testing results can vary significantly between different tube testers, whether calibrated or not. Variations may occur due to differences in testing voltages, bias settings, and operating points. For this reason, the only test results we recognize and stand behind are those obtained using our own calibrated professional testing equipment. Results from any other testers will not be considered valid for warranty or return purposes.

Please note, return shipping costs, insurance, and any related fees are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed upon.

HOW TO START A RETURN OR WARRANTY CLAIM

To begin the process for either a return or a warranty claim, please contact our customer service at info@tubes.rs to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping your item back.

When contacting us, please include:

Your order number

A detailed description of the issue

Clear photos of the item, including the logo, etched codes, and any other identifiable details

Test results if available (for tubes, please specify the tester model and parameters used)

This information helps us verify the item, confirm eligibility, and ensure a quick resolution. Items returned without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Additional Information

Return shipping, insurance, and wire fees are non-refundable.
A proof of purchase (receipt) is required to process any returns.
